Button Factory Arts

BRAND IDENTITY

Button Factory Arts is a community art centre in Waterloo with studio programs, gallery space, a gift shop and rental space. They offer art focused classes and workshops for all ages and they are a vibrant presence in the Waterloo arts community. This art centre is located in the building of an old button factory that has been serving the Waterloo region for over 100 years, and gave the Button Factory its iconic name.

symbol

The symbol can be interpreted as four buttons side by side or the four holes of one button paying homage to the Button Factory's history and location.

wordmark

The wordmark uses a clean sans serif and stacks the words "Button Factory Arts" neatly beside the symbol. The perfectly circular O's echo the buttons shape in the symbol.

colour choice

Each colour was matched with one of the Button Factory's core values.
